Leveling the floor in different ways
In the process of repairing the premises, manywith the need to conduct a procedure such as leveling the floor. Starting this scrupulous process, you need to know exactly what the room is intended for, the alignment method will depend on it. There are several ways to bring about a gender to the desired appearance and several stages of accomplishing this task.
The main stage before the process of floor leveling -this is the preparation of the surface. To begin with, it is cleaned of dust, paint, and oil stains. Another important procedure, which you should not forget about when leveling the floor, is fixing all the cracks in the base. If this procedure is not followed, then all cracks will lead to material leakage.
The floor must be leveled usingfor this, dry type building mixes. The connecting link will be non-shrinkage cements and fine sand. Having carried out the priming work, a level is set on the surface (a stretched cord or beacon profiles can be used). Next is the creation of a cover. The mixture is filled with all the space between the beacons, and neatly leveled with a spatula. In order to get a smooth surface, the screed is covered with the final leveler.
Aligning the floor with plywood begins with the layoutsheets of plywood on the entire surface without fasteners. Further, the sheets are adjusted to the required dimensions of the room. They should not come in contact with the walls. The surface of the plates must be leveled. In this process, it is important to maintain normal ventilation. Further on, the entire surface of the floor slabs are laid soundproofing backfill. Then the logs are laid, touching the soundproofing so that no gaps remain. The logs are supported by wooden linings. The alignment of the floor in this way requires a certain accuracy, so the surface of the log must be located at the same level. Further, the crate is measured and prepared, then plywood is piled onto it and fixed. It must be impregnated with an antiseptic. The permissible gap between the sheets is from 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
Leveling of the floor under the tile is carried out withusing sand-cement screed or gypsum fiber. Now consider a sand-cement screed, which can be purchased already in ready-made form. This kind of leveling begins with cleaning the floor surface, and then laying the prepared mortar. The applied solution is leveled and left for a day for curing. The installed beacons are removed and the cooked mass is poured into the formed slots. Screed should be moistened twice or covered with polyethylene twice a day. It is necessary to close the windows, doors, in order to avoid increased air circulation. If this is not observed, then on the screed will appear cracks. It will be ready after 28 days.
Gypsum fiber screed is used a littledifferently. In the last few years, it has been used instead of cement and sand. The point is that water is not used for leveling, so the screed can be used immediately after laying.
Gypsum fiber sheets before usepass a 48-hour acclimatization. During this process, all cracks and cracks in the floor should be eliminated as much as possible. Then overlap polyethylene on the walls, the edges are attached to the walls. After leveling the dry backfill with two layers, the gypsum fiber sheets are laid. Under a sheet of the second layer, it is necessary to apply a glue solution and screw it to the bottom sheet with screws. The grooves from the screws are primed. Each lump is smeared and leveled. Do not forget to sand the surface with a primer.
