How to treat laryngitis
A patient suffering from sore throat has a bright red laryngeal mucosa. There may also be some swelling.
However, redness does not always cover the entire larynx: there may be cases where only the epiglottis is affected.
A more complex form of the disease is laryngotracheitis. In that case, except for the larynx zone, the inflammatory process extends to the trachea. The fact that the patient has laryngotracheitis may say a wet cough.
