How to lucidly explain to the child the days of the week: a crib for parents

Often, young mothers ask the question: “How to learn the days of the week with the baby?” I want to warn you right away: do not expect that studying the days of the week will be a quick process. First, the child will be confused about the order of days. But with regular practice and repetition, everything will fall into place.
Often pay attention to the days that are important for your family: birthdays, celebrations, the arrival of grandparents, weekends, etc. Like so much else, this training can be easy in everyday family conversations.
I offer a very simple rhyme:
“A crocodile visited the zoo every day. On Monday to the bear, and on Tuesday to the mouse. On Wednesday to the lion, on Thursday to the beaver. On Friday, to two kangaroos, to the buffalo went on Saturday. On Sunday - to the behemoth. A neighbor came to him - there is no crocodile at home. ”
The attention of the child is very attracted to bright, colorful objects. For example: on simple cubes with letters, write the days of the week, playing with the baby, you will at the same time learn the days of the week and repeat the letters.
Change the type of occupation: take any musical instrument and try to sing the names of the days of the week on a suitable motive.
Pin a table with the names of the days of the week on the wall in the children's room, and each time you lift the child out of bed in the morning, show him what day it is.
You can organize a game in the yard with friends or at home with your family: “Whose week will gather faster?” The essence of the game. Two teams are selected, 7 people each. Each team is given 7 colored squares mixed with the names of the days of the week. Squares can be placed in any box. Then the children are invited to be scattered. At a signal, they take out the squares and line up opposite each other in a strict sequence of days of the week. Wins the team that lined up first and did not make mistakes in the construction. The game can be repeated 2-3 times.
And as soon as children come to school, every day becomes more organized for them. This is noticeable not only at school, but also at home. It is very important for them to know what day it is and what will happen on that day. From the very first time when a child asked what day it is, parents should encourage this interest. Children must learn to be independent in managing their time.Knowing what day it is, the child will take the first steps towards planning time and timetable, which in turn brings up composure and organization. This you, parents, make your life easier.
